Who is this Aimed at:

Anyone interested in progressing to a National judge for Aerobic Gymnastics as well as existing Cycle 13 & 14 Regional & National judges who wish to revalidate for the upcoming cycle. 

What To Expect:

An informative course that introduces learners to judging an Aerobic Gymnastics event. You will be taught how to judge the execution, artistry, difficulty and chair elements of a routine. 

This is a tutor-led virtual course which is delivered over three sessions. You must attend all sessions in full. 

You will also attend a live virtual assessment . You will submit your exam scores via an online form whilst viewing exam material, therefore you must have access to either: 

  1. a laptop or PC with two screens, or 
  2. a laptop or PC and an additional mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet.  

Delivery Method:

Three virtual tutor-led sessions followed by a live virtual assessment. There will be approximately two weeks between the course dates and assessment date to allow you to practise and reflect on the course material.

Duration:

Session 1 - 4 hours

Session 2 - 4 hours

Session 3 – 4 hours

Session 4 – Assessment; 4 hours

How Will I Be Assessed:

Your assessment will take place in a live virtual classroom.

Advice on sitting your assessment:

  • You must ensure you have the appropriate equipment and internet connection (WiFi).
  • You must ensure you are able to sit your exam in an environment free from distraction. We do not recommend being in a public space.
  • You should not sit your exam in the same room as other judges who are also sitting the exam.
  • There should not be anyone present who could distract or influence your scores.

You will be required to submit your exam scores via an online form whilst viewing exam material, therefore you must have access to either:

  1. a laptop or PC with two screens, or
  2. a laptop or PC and an additional mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet.

Learner must be at least 18 years old on the first day of the course

Your assessment will take place in a live virtual classroom via our Kaltura platform. 

You will be sent a link to the Kaltura classroom via email approx. 7 days before your assessment date. 

To complete the live virtual assessment, you will submit your exam scores via an online form whilst viewing exam material, therefore you must have access to either: 

  1. a laptop or PC with two screens, or 
  2. a laptop or PC and an additional mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet.
