Go the juniors and espoirs! looks like they've all done really well for themselves! i can't say im hugely farmiliar with the younger competitors in the county but it looks like we have a good bunch coming up into senior levels soon! I was particuarly pleased to see Rebecca wing in there doing well as i attended a summer camp at pinewood a couple of years ago so its great to see her doing well!

she's in the british squad right? how do you pronounce her name?! lol when we were at lilleshall her name was on the vaul;t run to mark her distance and we spent abotu 10 minutes arguing over how it was pronounced!! hehe any ideas!? :P

I'd pronounce it "Ash-Ling" because that's how it's spelt. But with names you can never tell - take Sian for example prounounced "Sharn". We had a girl in our squad once called Sian and she got very annoyed with the announcer at competitions because he insisted on calling her "Sigh-An"

A girl I know (nice but dim) saw my daughters middle name - Lianne - and said how much she liked the name but she read and prounounced it as "Lar-nee-a"!

I know a girl called Sian which is said See-ann - she gets very frustrated when people call her "Sharn" (I assume her mother had only seen it written and not heard it said when she named her!).

Ash's name is actually spelt Aisling, but pronounced the way you said.

She broke her toe a week before the competition, hence not competing. She was in attendance and was given a special diploma with the other members of the Junior Euros team.
