Does anyone know if there is a London Sports Acro website. My club are new to the SA area this year, just wondering if there is anywhere on the net I can find some results of the competitions we have competed in. x

Sorry I have loads of questions on this forum today! I'm looking for the SA code of points. Is there anywhere on the web where I would be able to find the balance and tempo elements for Intermediate 3 and 4, womens pairs and womens's trios? xxx

Hi GymDiva - I honestly don't think there is a London website that contains the whole London results and the only London Acro I club I know (off the top of my head) that has a website is Sportac although Heathrow also do acro I've not seen any acro results on their site.
Have your club actually competed? If so then the results should have been sent to your club!
With regards to your second question - I can't think of a site that has the tariff sheets for Int 3 & 4 pairs/trios but if you PM me with your e-mail address I can e-mail you copies when I get home (have them on my computer there). Just give me a few minutes to clear out my PM box 'cos it's full!!!!:o

Hi Anita! My club started competing this year, we entered the London Regionals and a few local competition held by clubs near our area. I don't think we ever had results sent to us. I do have a sheet with the scores written down from the day but nothin was official as I wrote it as the compere read them out. Never mind! Will PM you with my email address, thanks for your help xxx

Tariff sheets sent!
With regard to scores - I always think it's wrong of competition organisers not to send out results - maybe you could volunteer to take on the task of chasing the results for your club!;) .
Our gymnasts always like to know what they scored - they use this to set targets for the next competition: not "I'm going to get a medal" but more "I'm going to improve my technical score by 0.5" or something similar. That's what my daughter did between the Regional Championships and the National Qualifier (she won the Regionals but finished 6th at the NQ) - they'd set themselves a target of improving their technical score which they did, even though the judging rules had changed with regard to individual elements (before Christmas only the "weakest" lost marks ie if all three did handsprings one of which would have incurred 0.1 deduction, the second 0.2 and the other a 0.5 then they lost just 0.5 but the rules changed so that all three incur deductions so that the same move would have lost them 0.8.
Gymnasts can't know if they're improving if they don't know their scores:mad: .
Doubt I'll judge in your region as I've discovered they don't pay travelling expenses for out of region judges - I would if they covered my expenses for the day. My time is free but not my petrol:(: why should I go to another region and end up out of pocket? If their judges come to our region they get expenses as well as a judging fee! We appreciate judges in the South East:D .

Could somebody please give me a shout when there's an SA comp in London? I've never been to one, and I'd quite like to go to watch sometime.

Heathrow will be hosting an Acro competition, possibly in October. I will post the details as soon as I have them.
