Typical I get my first job interview since being made redundant and when is it....next Friday 4pm....40 minutes away from where I live .....oh well I was going to record any coverage I could find on anyway
I think it's worth it though the job does sound very interesting :D

Oh Nooooo! Bad timing!!! I'll be in my bedroom with my door locked to keep my brothers out with my telly and video recorder on!

Good luck, hope you get the job after them making you miss the trampolining!

Thank you I'm pretty sure I'm prepared....
I did a test run on the BBC timings by recording the gym tonight and just as I thought the printed times are rubbish so I didn't get to see the end of the womens final  I also took it very easy at tonights session and even remembered to ice my knees when I got home just to make sure I'm not hobbling tomorrow

I'm glad it's not just me that has to worry about interviews as a result of bouncing! I came down to England for an interview about 14 weeks after breaking my leg (in a very minor way). I was walking OKish and without the crutch, but very very slowly.

Unfortunately the bus went over a speed bump on the way out the airport, as I was still going to a seat. In case the result wasn't already too obvious, fate of course did step in to ensure that the interview was in a room quite a distance from where I was sitting waiting. Took me forever to get there.

I truly had been sitting at my desk at work less than twelve hours after the accident, and apart from physio (which I didn't get till months later) only had five part days off work as a result of it (mainly for appointments). But you can always tell when an interviewer just doesn't believe a word you're saying...:(

How did it go Lucy? (Hopefully better than Kirsten's qualifying routine!!)

It went OK though for some reason I got nervous about half way through (I haven't done an interview for at least 5 years so I suppose that's not too bad). Not a great salary but it seems like a nice relaxed friendly company and I'll find out next week how I did!!
The worst thing was when I got home I found out my video had played up so I had no sound, but at least I got to see it!
I'll get to see the mens final today though and then I've got a 6-8 session at which I'll be copying the routines ( :p I wish!). You never know it might inspire me enough to get a full twist into my front somi if not a rudi!!

Glad your interview went well - do you know if you've got the job yet http://www.british-gymnastics.org/memberforum/images/icons/icon5.gif

Hope you did after they took you away from the trampolining on telly!

I was offered it but turned it down as it just wasn't worth it. It was going to be a nightmare journey (not distance so much as wrong side of gridlocked town) to get there, and the salary was appalling! I have other applications out there and another interview on Wednesday so I'll just have to wait and see what happens!
