Can anyone (ie DJC:) ) tell me how you post a link so that it comes up with a description instead of the full URL?
Thanks

Thought I'd experiment with this one - try clicking here (http://www.geocities.com/eastkentacro) for my club website. Hope this works - if it does I'll tell you how to do it!;)

Ok - it worked!.
First type the description or word you want to link to - ie "website"
Next highlight the word and click on the globe with who links which is in the centre of the lower toolbar above and you get a box up directing you to type the URL of the link you want - simply type that in there, click OK and Bob's your uncle!:p

Superb - thank you very much:) Took me ages to still not be able to work that out:o
(PS - Congratulations on reaching your two hundredth post - you've posted about a seventh of the forum!)

And if you're not using the WYSIWYG editor, like if you're using your phone for example, the [TAG] format is as follows:
Description Here
minus the extra space after uk and the last URL :)

Thanks!
What I need to do now is teach my phone that I don't want to see signatures, only want to see a few posts per page and want the basic editor, and the computer (I've finally got my phone-line!) that I want the full works!
I daresay that'll be a bit hopeful though...
