Well Kelly, you need 30 posts to go from 'Junior Member' to 'Member', so you're half way there already! You need 100 posts to get to 'Senior Member' ... but I'm sure that won't take you long :D Keep posting!

My daughter's training schedule is a little more complicated - she should train Mon, Thurs, Sat & Sun (she does a recreational session on a Wednesday too) but these are also the same 4 days her gym club train!! So she has to juggle where she's going to go mostly depending upon what comps are coming up! When there's no comps she tries to do about half and half where she can, so that works out about 5 to 8 hours over 3 or 4 days for tramp, and 10 to 12 hours at gym over 3 or 4 days!

This means on Thurs and Sun she often does 2 hours bouncing and then it's a mad dash straight to the gym after to catch the last couple of hours of training there!

Tues, Thurs & Sat, 6-8 hours in all during term time and whatever I can get outside of term, we've managed at least one session a week through the summer.

My older daughter coaches on Mondays for two hours, on Wednesdays she trains for two hours, Fridays some coaching and trains for a total of 3 hours and Saturdays some coaching (plus rec if she's needed) and training for a total of 4 hours. She only goes into the gym on Tuesdays if they're desperate for a coach but, as she's just starting her final year at Uni, would like to avoid that to concentrate on study!

My younger daughter on the other hand well ..... she trains as and when she can because she works full-time shift work! She COULD train 3 hrs Tuesdays, 2 Wednesdays, 3 Fridays and up to 4 Saturdays: but doesn't because of work :D.

She does help with coaching as and when she can as well (for the new forum members: both my girls compete at acro and are qualified coaches: Liz is a CC and Becki an SCC).

Me? I don't train too old, overweight and and unfit ;) . I help with paperwork and am a qualified judge. I tend to be at the club about 3 hours a week in one respect or another.

Rosie: what are you studying at Uni & at which one? (PS - I'm nosey!)

Sounds like you lot are lucky then with all the training you do!!!
On a normal week i only manage 3hrs on a Sunday morning (the first 1hr 30m is squad training), and then 1hr 30m on a Monday night (which is advanced)!!!
Haven't actually told my Mum yet, but i'm hoping to start Fridays again soon - now that the tennis season is over for me!!!
My first Grade 4 comp is on Oct 2nd, but i need 51.5 to qualify because i'm U18!!!
Which i could complain isn't fair as i'm only going to be 15 this Thursday, so i wanted to be U15 for all the comps before this one!!!
What Grade are you Rosie?!?!
Will you be going to the Cocks Moor Woods Grading on 2nd Oct???
Luv Kel!!!

Lol!!!
Thanks Anita!!!
It was quite funny tonight at training because my friend Emily decided to bring my present in, rather than waiting until Sunday (when i'm having my party!!! hehehe!!!)!!!
There was a large assortment of things and it looked like Christmas had come early ... So in the break i started to unwrap everything and saved the one she thought was the best until last ...
However, with two presents left to open, my coach decided the break was over, and wouldn't let me unwrap anymore :(
I thought that was a bit harsh, but then he is always stricter on a Monday!!!
It was quite funny as everyone was waiting to find out what was in the last parcel!!!
Mr Coach was a spoil sport!!!
Luv Kel!!!

yep i'm going to be at cocks moor wood on the 2nd doing O18 grade 4. I really want to qualify this time as i want to practice some of my more fun moves like doubles and one and threes. Plus i want to learn to rudy (i know these are grade 2 things and i have to do 3 as well first, but hopefully my coaches will let me if i grade up this time)

Hi Kelly ... you're doing your G4 the day before KayJ does hers! She was going mad last night because she managed to score 49.1 in the gym ... 0.4 away from qualification mark (it's 49.5 for the U11 ... poor you having to get a whole 2 marks more to qualify!!!) So she's putting loads of training time into her trampolining for the next week and a half to try and up her score!

Happy birthday for Thursday :D !!!

Sarah G has just told me there is someone from Activ8 in my group!!!
Just asked for her name ... Carly!!!

Used to be Grade 2!!!
Argh!!!
Lol!!!
And i'm in the same boat as you - i want to move up so i can take my double backs more seriously!!!
I can already do codys and ballouts and learning fulls - so that's a start!!!
And to Jaye - i expect i will find out this Sunday what marks i should get ... Fingers crossed it should be good!!!
I hope the extra training pays of for KayJ ... I'm sure it will!!!
:D
Good Luck to everyone competing!!!
