You need to get tickets from the Guildford Spectrum box office on 01483 443322. The only session you're likely to get tickets on the door for is the espoirs. The Seniors may well already be sold out, as it is always busy and this year will double as the final olympic trial.

I really want Aisling to do well, I watched her in a comp at Liverpool last December and think she's brilliant :)
(I was doing a comp there myself on the same day, but I was only competing in the NW Team Challenge in the morning, and I stayed on to watch the afternoon championships that she was in! At least I can say I competed in a comp on the same day and at the same place as Aisling, even if I've never got any hope of competing against her!)

 you havent heard!??!!?
lol they've only won the british champs in the junior sections for the last erm... 6 years?!?! hehe they're an amzing squad and their floor routines, they deserve a whole separate award! hehe they're nice girls too, well I've spoken to couple of the seniors!
This year they cleaned up somewhat taking the tournement trophies, highest apparatus score and both the senior and junior titles! as well as taking a bronze i believe in the primary section!
Bev and Jullian such their coaches deserve an award!!! hehe

Daniel - Are any of TBGN guys taking a laptop for uptodate reports for us poor unfortunates who have to be in the gym during the British?
nick
26th June 2004, 07:19 PM
i'm not part of tbgn but i will be able to provide live scores like i did today for gbr vs rus
Daniel
27th June 2004, 04:20 PM
Unfortunately, we won't be as we don't have the technology at the moment (not to mention the cost). We will have loads of coverage from the event though, with lots of photos and reports. There will be some of GB vs Russia up soon, as Cat and Sarah are at the event.

Oh, and Nick very kindly did his live scores for GB vs Russia on the TBGN forum, so I am guessing (if we are nice to him :D ) he will do it there for the British!

Nick - Will you be posting them on the BG forum, TBGN forum or both???
nick

it depends how the people who deal with the nationals take my proposal, matthew greenwood (performance manager) hailed it as a "cool feature" to have and would be sure to make something of it at the events he handled (glasgow grand prix & world cup final) but matthew told me write a short summary of the feature and it would be passed onto the right people.
it will all depend on how they take it. but if it ends up being like, the basic concept, which is posting block scores onto a bulletin board (like i did over gbr vs rus), then i would be happy to post the results here and over at tbgn. but if anything like mySQL and ASP pages are created on BGA's website, then it'd only go here (where the ASP pages are created on the site), as that's where the technology would be available on (linking SQL and ASP means that the scores can be updated on the website as i type them into my laptop, it'd be quicker than how football results are posted as they are triggered automatic refreshing java scripts) - but i don't think there is enough time to set this up by the nationals next week, ..this would be somethiing more realistic for glasgow etc)
but i will need to see how it goes, i'll keep you all informed

Cool! Glad to hear someone is trying to do the scoring stuff live. I'm sure BG could sort it out at some point and it would be nice for people to be able to follow things live. Maybe one day in the future (when I get myself a laptop and when mobile connections are cheaper) I'll be able to do quick hits!
