Where has everyone gone?!?!
It has all gone very quiet!!!
I made an attempt to start a couple of threads a while ago, but participation from you lot didn't last long!!!
Hehehe!!!
Ah well, i'm not going to let the trampolining section go quiet!!!
So to keep me from insanity, reply, otherwise i will have to just talk to myself!!!
Lets think, what can we talk about?!?!
I know ... what is everyone learning at the moment, or preparing for, or just doing in training?!?!
I've got a new vol which i'm getting ready for the schools comp!!!
It's got a much higher tariff than i've had before, and incredibly it contains all 3 shaped baranis!!!
Plus after all the trouble i have had with baranis ... They're one of my favourite moves now!!!
How ironic!!!
Anyway, i'll shut up because i really do feel like i'm talking to myself!!!
Hope you ALL reply soon!!!
Luv Kel!!!

I dunno what's up. Someone's suggested people are hibernating. Do you know anyone that's hibernating? Is it common in England? :)

Lucy
17th November 2004, 02:05 AM
No not hibernating just doing a judge course and club coach course (waiting for results! ) along with replacing bits of kitchen and rearranging our spare room so it can actually be used as a room rather than a cupboard! Oh and getting a job which starts in January so probably temping somewhere for a few weeks if anyone wants me.....just sort of keeping busy in general!

Ooh and managed to get my arms under control in my full, but still no closer to a rudi!

Not too sure if everyone is hibernating but i've just been so busy what with work, studying for my Microsoft Windows Server 2003 MCP exam, which is a nightmare to do... and of course doing lots of gym work trying to get myself back into shape for when i return to the gym in 2 weeks time ( i know 1 thing though since i've been out injured i've got so lazy its untrue the past couple of weeks have been very tiring as i've been trying to get back to old ways of being pro-active )

Well done Ceri. I got a phone call this morning saying could I start tomorrow instead of January, so I'm now rushing around trying to make good all the jobs I've started round my home (just taking ten minutes for a cup of tea)!

I think you won't have heard of my place unfortunately it's nothing to do with trampolining (we make laser lamps) but I'd like to start up a club in the near future!

Rosh which unis have you applied to so far and what do you want to study?

Gingerheid

Congrats on the job Lucy - hope all goes well. And on the coaching and judging - I'm sure it did go well! And best wishes to Dave with the fitness... and Rosh with the applications... and Ceri with the job...

Looks like I'm the only person that hasn't been up to much exciting or new then! My news - not much! I've found myself a club that I can get to by bus, which is superb :D, and I'm quickly learning how to do the coaching that I used to be able to do again (ie not much :) ), and, eh, eh, that's it!

Been in lovely warm scenic England five months, but still haven't learnt to speak English in a way that it can be understood. And still haven't persuaded TV Licensing  that I don't have one of the blasted things!

Lucy

Bad news Gingerheid they will probably never accept you don't have a telly! They can't believe anyone could live without one, they used to regularly send threatening letters to where I used to work (why would an office have to have a telly?) and from what I last heard they are still turning up on a regular basis.

I know I passed the judging exams and I passed the practical club coach exam so I'm just waiting on the written papers (fingers crossed).

So which club did you join in the end?

Rosie

Wow looks like eveeryones doing lots of cool things.

I've spent the last few weekends being a body for my friends coaching course (trmpoline club coach). Last weekend i took my first trampolining judging exams.

In terms of training everything is going really well. I'm working on a new voluntary routine (which is evil) of
ONe and three, Barani ball out, bk ss, barani, bk ss, bnk ss, barani, bk ss, crash dive, barani ball out.

The somersaults have yet to be shaped. At the moment i can get through it- but hvaing major crisis as barani ballout twists wrong way:(

Ehm, I've been going along to *whispers very quietly* Oxford University since the term started. The times are different during term time and I can make one of them (on such occasions as I can do a disappearing act from work at ten to three - thankfully most of the time as long as I'm not staying away!).

Though I'm still in love with Cambridge! Had a little stay in Newmarket the other week so I could have a couple of days there... climbed Great St Mary's Tower and had a lovely walk along the river... wish I could find a way of getting transferred there! :)

How did you find the club coach? I used to be ready for it, and hopefully I will be again soon, but I'm not sure about the hassle of arranging victims, ehm, I mean, volunteers for the exam, especially if none of it's local.

I don't think I will ever get rid of TV licensing. :( My flat is very small and you can see just about the whole of it from one step inside the front door. It would be no trouble for me to show them that there's no TV in only a few seconds, and I have invited them to come so I can. So what do I get today??? A red letter threatening that ... they might schedule a visit to my property...

Look on the bright side - she might be a very attractive blonde ;) .

But if your luck's like mine - a gorilla a few weeks' short of his pension

Cambridge is fine if you haven't got a car (fine for you at the moment Gingerheid) or if you only want to drive between 10pm and 7am! Any other time and you'll be queueing. You can always play count the traffic lights as you wait e.g. science park to Leys school at 5.45pm (approx 4 miles across town) 45 minutes.

I would be too frightened to drive in Cambridge! How many eyes do you need to watch for cyclists?

Ideally I would love to live somewhere where you didn't need a car at all. Alternatively, anywhere 200 yards from my work, Tesco, Marks and Spencers, a trampoline club and a Theatre will do :p

(I am spoilt rotten after living a few hundred yards from Princes Sreet in Edinburgh :o )

I'm ever closing in on that stage where I'll be having to get used to the idea of driving regularly for my work though. Last training course is in Birmingham next week.

How's the new job going?

Anita

Oooh, lots of lovely queuing in and around Birmingham ;) . Got caught queuing in a blizzard going up to Stoke on Thursday

You'll very rarely be going fast enough to do them any damage;) !

You say you're on the course in Birmingham ... I'm guessing the cc course at Stockland Green?!?!

Wish it was! I daresay it's a course for my (non tramp related) work :( Since I started my new job in England I've been getting lots of training courses in different places about the country.

I'm not ready for CC at the moment (forgot an awful lot after only 4 months out!). Hopefully I will be again soon...

(Birmingham's not bad. I'm starting to put sitting on my case on the floor for the train journey here behind me. A bit.)

I've just started bouncing at Oxford University, but I'm not a student there.

I'm a redhead (though it's going a bit brown now!). I first registered on the old forum as redhead, but I realised that could cause confusion, so I made it more Scottish!
