Hi -
My son had gym last night (Mon) and this morning was going to do some conditioning on handles pre school, but said his wrist was sore.
On the inside of one wrist it is slightly swollen (centre, and about 50p diameter) and tender to touch.( He didnt put any weight on it, and did tummy work instead). I wonder whether to rush onto gymnastic express website and order some 'panda paws' which are meant to support an injured wrist so he can train on Wednesday if it is ok by then, and find out about some wrist strengthening exercises?
What shall I do?
Have tried to ring coach, but not at home.

Speaking as the injury prone king here i suggest he rests on wednesday or takes it very easy and if it were me id get the gloves anyway

Thanks Dave!
He came back from school with it still sore, we iced it (probably too late but I didnt even know about it until 12 hours after he did it anyway!)
Worked out it was probably from jarring it when doing round off flick on floor practising for christmas display - he only got this move on Friday for the first time on the tumble track too!

Will give ibuprofen for pain and swelling and let him go in to gym to see where he's meant to be etc for display and i guess he can be given conditioning (how exciting!) while the rest do p bars and whatever else they do on a Wednesday!
