Sometimes I get a sore back at the end of training. It doesn't seem to be any particular moves that makes it hurt. It still affects me when I get back home sometimes :( but it's ok the next day :)
Does anybody else get this?
Have you got any tips how to stop it?

Oh dear, it looks like I'm the only one with an achy back after tramp training?
Ok then, does anybody get any other aching bits when they train? Or is it just me who is always aching or injured?!

No it's not just you! I do but I just assumed I was getting old as I don't remember suffering before!
My main problem at the moment is bruised knees where I was messing about on Tuesday doing hands and knees turnovers and biranis!

I fell over at school the other day and scraped all my knee. I went training at night and forgot ... my knee was killing me after doing a couple of front drops!
I've bruised my knees a few times too!
I wonder if my aching back is from not doing a warm up like we do at gym (at tramp it's 3 tuck jumps, 3 pike jumps, 3 straddle jumps and a silver routine and that's it!)

I think a proper warm up (including stretching) certainly wouldn't do any harm!
If I miss a stretch out my warm up (brief one as it is!) I always find out exactly as soon as I wake up the next morning.

Hmmm - also why a "warm down" is important too! My mum's always telling me to warm up and warm down properly 'cos if I don't I'll ache the next day!

I always find warm ups for trampolining a bit of a poser. Its not the type of sport that you warm up before you get on and warm down when you get off, otherwise you would be doing this for most of the session. At comps your warm up often involves the routine you are going to compete, in the mens event at grade1 vols are done with a tariff exceeding 14.0 I`m not sure if there is any type of warmup that would prepare for that!!http://www.british-gymnastics.org/memberforum/images/icons/icon11.gif

I would have thought the effects of a warm up would last between goes? Unless it's a really long session with LOTS of people on the tramp...
At comps, I'd say you don't see much evidence of warming up going on. Strictly speaking 'warm up' isn't the right term for what happens? Maybe more of a 'final practice'?

Some years ago I did the Flowers cup in Aalsmere in Holland my "warm up" finished at 3pm and I competed at 6pm!!
