From a trampolining point of view, I'm getting to terms with the fact that I am always going to be too much of a fearty to ever have a somy in a routine!

Other than that I've been doing my usual thing - going for interviews in nice places at the other end of the country... (On the bus back into the city centre one of the people who'd been there said "What did you think of that woman? She kept on asking more questions about what I was saying. I just wanted to say to her 'Look! How on earth would I know that, when I'm making all this up?'")

Ahhh Barry - keep going you WILL get a somi into a routine, it will just *click* one day :D
The interrogation sounds fun too - i would probably have just said what you wanted to hehehe!!!
Well good luck with everything :)
Speak to you soon!!!

Initial problems with somersaults that I need to try and get round first are being too fearty to do them on a mat and ... :(

Twas the other person that wanted to say he was making it all up:). Me? Why, I've never made anything up in an interview :D

Super busy with uni work and its getting on my nerves cos when i go to training I am so tired it was a disaster last night, gonna try harder tonight cos my uni work is clicking inot place, I love prepared research just writing up now, its boring and repeative but at least I'm half way through. Hey Kelly are you doing gradings in April? think my routine will be a laugh its so low at the moment fell so tired..... you will have to tell me some funny stories to cheer me up.

Awww Jasmine i know the feeling about the whole workload ... I've done 12 hours homework over the last 3 days and on 2 of those days i was training!!!
Not getting much sleep, just trying to keep on top of everything, but no way am i missing any trampolining because it's going quite well at the moment :)
Yeah doing the April comp and can't wait!!!
My first grade 3 ... YAY!!! :D
Sorted a new vol last night, so working on that and going to use it if i can get my form better!!!
Haven't spoken to you for AGES ... Got some very funny stories from school ... It's French exchange at the moment and loads of lads have come over (remember i go to a girls' school!!!) so when they decide to come to our lessons and assembly and sit there asking lots of questions making out they're stupid, when their English is quite frankly brilliant - it is hilarious!!!
What are you planning on doing/working towards as your vol for the comp???
Do you reckon we'll be on at 8:30???
Hope your workload decreases soon!!!
I've got to go and do an English poetry presentation as part of my coursework now ... Whoopee i just love Thomas Hardy (i think that's the poet person i chose ... better text my mate just to check!!!).
Speak to you soon :)
Luv Kel!!!

Hope so I dont like competing in the afternoon because I have to be there at silly o' clock anyway i feel so tired, but I think the competition organisers alternate early morning to a later start, apparently some of the older ones moaned....... Don't know if it is true I would rather get up do my bit then relax for the day rather then spending it worrying about the competition and increasing my nerves. What is your vol i am having issues with mine so i might do a slightly easier one only 8 sommies, i would have been capped if i did the original vol so it doesn't matter is i go for lower one, need to keep the form marks up. Want to see if I can get closer to qualifying this time. ooh guess what i start working my 1 1/3 in the rig soon really excited. See you in April we you have a snazzy new leotard?

Kelly Jordan

Yeah i'd rather compete in the morning, although i stay for the rest of the day if i can too :)
It's great to see everyone, and watch everyone and cheer them on - I always look forward to comps!!! :D
As for a voluntary, on Wed i was practising:

Straight back
Straddle
Pike back
Pike barani
Tuck back
Tuck barani
Tuck back to seat
1/2 twist to feet
Tuck
Pike front

Tariff = 4.1

But if i get that ok then i could do:

Tuck back to seat
1/2 twist to feet
Pike front
Tuck front

Tariff = 4.6

Or i was thinking i could try:

Straight back
Straight barani
Straddle
Pike back
Pike barani
Tuck back
Tuck barani
Tuck back to seat
1/2 twist to feet
Pike front

Tariff = 4.7

Because i like the link straight back, straight barani :)

Just got to see how it goes!!!
I don't know if i'll use any of those - depends if i can get my form from crap to good!!! :S
...
"Only 8 sommies" hehehe that's a lot for me!!!
In fact the 6 in the set is a lot for me!!!
I can't wait to try and compete a new routine :D
Speak to you soon!!!
Hope everything goes well!!!
Luv Kel!!!

Well mine was 9 sommies:

straight back
straight barani
pike back
pike barani
tuck back
tuck barani
tuck back to seat
1/2 twist to feet
pike front
tuck front

its 5.2 but it would be capped at 5.0 so i can do a lower one if I want cos it is more important to have good form dont want to be a scruffy thing! so i might take out the tuck front and do tuck jump pike front. Hopefully I will make the final cos our group is normally really small so i might do the 8 sommie vol and then the 9 sommie vol for my final to get placings. Fingers crossed. did have a crazy thought earlier thou I was wondering if my pike back to seat was neater then my tuck back to seat for an extra 0.1 hehe.

Sounds brill!!! :D
And yeah form is very important - hence the reason i used my set 3 times at the last 2 comps!!!
You are very neat though, so i'm sure whatever you choose will be fab!!! :D
Hehehe this is going to be an incredibly short message from me, but i'm watching Comic Relief at the moment ... Such fun at school today with teachers in our uniform, many with red hair, legs being waxed, singing rock, eating dodgy food!!!
Ahhh the joys!!!
Luv Kel!!!
