due to the impending closure of "welcome to trampolining" kelly has volunteered to set up a site at http://www.freewebs.com/trampolinemad/ to keep things going
I would like to thank Paul again for running such a great site.

A big well done to Kelly!!http://80.68.90.51/memberforum/images/icons/icon14.gifIt takes me ages to type a post up, so setting a web site up so quickly is simply amazing!http://80.68.90.51/memberforum/images/icons/icon10.gif

Thanks Peter :)
The tariffs page took me ages to do (as you can imagine!) i still haven't finished it though - got up to half-in rudi-outs lol!
And the links page is growing steadily - i did all the club links then moved onto University links then my net went off and it wasn't saved, so i had loads more than are actually on the site (damn it!).
But anyway, at least the forum is working properly - although i need to try and change the colours/size/font because it's not that clear.
Please post on the forum ... I want to get it moving!
And i'm going on holiday on Monday for two weeks (booked it on Thursday!), so the website won't be updated until i get back.
Hopefully do some work on it later - as well as making the site yesterday i also did a piece of graphics coursework!
History today though, and Maths tomorrow!
Take care!

Huge congratulations to you for the new site, Kelly. :)
Your forum has really taken off on a way that this place sadly never has; it has had more posts this week than this forum has had since April. It makes a wonderful open, and much more importantly accessible place for trampolinists to post, already having contributions not just from UK members or BG members, but from all over the world.
I did e-mail BG to suggest that following the demise of welcome.to/trampolining, and it's most popular english speaking tramp forum on the net, it would have been good for BG to create an accessible replacement by way of an additional forum on this board where posts from non BG members would appear immediately.
It's really an awfully good example of the sort of thing that BG are apparently in a better position to do, and that they might have found to be a good application of the money that we give them. It would have been very easy for BG to do, taking a matter of minutes to set up on the software they are already using to run this board. It would also have been easy for BG to put a disclaimer on the link about their lack of immediate control over content, and this 'secure' board would always remain as an attractive alternative for those troubled by the potential for a lack of instant moderation.
I am a little disappointed by the rather comprehensive way in which the BG reply "I'm very sorry but the answer has come back as "no" to an unmoderated forum. You'll have to start new threads on the existing forum." failed to address the issue, whether through a lack of knowledge or a lack of care.
However, following the undoubted immediate success of your site, it now matters not. I expect, given the successes of both the previous BAGA site, welcome.to and now your own, this is simply one example of something better left to amateurs. As the new and costly BG strives to become ever more professional, I hope there aren't too many other examples lurking in the woodwork; hopefully future BG awards will be genuine, and not granted for truly spectacular examples of really seriously missing the whole point.
