Hi everyone,
Just wonder how much coaches earn hourly around the country. In south east pay is poor (I think anyway!) ranging from £7 - £13 per hour.
Is there a national average wage we should be getting?
Let me know

Pay at my club is real bad cos it's a small private club and rarely makes profit :(
I'm a Club Coach and I get less than £6.00 and hour. Senior coaches are less than £10.00.

I've found that pay as a coach doesn't just vary depending in what area of the country you are in, but also which context and often its just down to which club.
I've worked as a club coach in a range of settings all in Hertfordshire, my lowest rate was £4.50, my highest was £22.50 per hour! Just depends if you get lucky!
Also I was paid for competative gymnastics coaching in once place (£8.20) but a club 20 mins down the road I worked for expected all competative coaching to be voluntary.
