Waiting period (coaching courses)

Since I can't seem to ever get through to Scottish Gymnastics I wondered if someone here can answer nice and quickly. If I plan to take a different discipline can I take club less than a year after my assistant, i.e. I have done women's artistic assistant and wish to do general club coach. I can't attend any of the other courses this year so would have to do it 6 months from my assistant course, and because of the overlap I have already covered some of the material. How does this work?

I think that you can go on the course but a year has to have lapsed before you take the exam.

Have you done the assistant at general? As I understand it, you have to wait a year for the next level in the same discipline, but not a different one. However, if you were a CC at WA, then you could do an add on for GCC but unless you have special dispensation (sp!) I don't think you can skip the assistant level.
