Hiya, for those of you who have seen me post before, this might seem far too familier...

Basically, the last time i did this, i was going to uni in bournemouth and looking for a club! now i am about to graduate..(scary) and moving to the london area...suposedly to start my journalism career...But wanting to coach!

I dont compete or train much anymore, because of a back and neck injury I aggravated last june! (which i am gutted about!) and recovering from a broken ankle meant i got out of the habbit of training!

BUT i want to carry on coaching, and maybe do some adult gym to loose the post-gymnast flabby bits! and maybe (despite the comments from my unenthusiatic boyfriend who thinks im crazy) i want to start competing again!

SO does anyone know of all the sports acrobatics clubs in london? and to what level they go?

I hope you are all well, and doing well in comps etc?!

Luv Sarah...

...Im forgotting i might have to ACTUALLY get a job, and might to have time to do 15 hours of gymnastics a week! haha

cheers...xxx

There is a link to LGF on this website. Look under "Relevant organisations". Heathrow is included in the LGF area. There is also Bromley Valley, and a club in Croydon, CATS plus a few more that I can't remember!

The clubs I know of are Heathrow, Harrow, Richmond, Bromley Valley, Sportac, Harlequins & Croydon - at least they were the only ones competing at last year's National Qualifier!

Hi Sarah

Took some time out from the forum - very busy with other stuff!

I'm well as are my girls - Liz "retired" last September but returned to training in November (I did manage to sell a couple leotards before they disappeared back into the bedroom .....).

Becki, on the other hand, made the decision to retire after the National Qualifier which was on the 19th - their top had grown so big very quickly that she was the same height as Becki! They wanted that final competition to "say goodbye" to each other as they've loved working together. Their only wish was not to come last ;) . They finished in fifth place and were really happy with that - the top is now working as a base and the middle has moved over to work with another pair.

What's even scarier than her retirement (it'll seem strange her not competing) is that she's moving out in about a month to flat share with a friend. We're used to Liz coming and going - she's either at work, her boyfriends, a friends or out pubbing/clubbing! It's a case of occasionally seeing her when she's on nights (comes home to sleep) or when she comes home to do her washing, pick up more clothes or raid the fridge  .
