Hi everyone,
Hope some1 can shead some light on this for me...
we have a coach on a club coach course in the north west & her daughter suffers from epilepsy. When the tutor asked if she competed in the invisible disabilities section of sports acro comps we were stunned as this was the first we'd heard of any 'invisible disability' section!!
Now, we asked for all the information and apparently any gymnasts with condition such as epilepsy, ADHD, those on steriods for medical reasons etc can compete under invisible disabilities.
She was reluctant to give us the plan as she heard there was a new plan on the cards & was due to be released very soon When ive contacted BG they havent got a clue who to pass me onto.
Thing is, we have a north west comp in october which were trainin for now and we need this plan to work from as some skills will be different. She wants to know whether she can compete at the same level in disability as shes working to now (grade 3). If she cant, she probably wont want to compete as disability.
So, can anyone give me some advice?
Thanks,
