Event Overview

The 2012 Summer Olympics held in London saw British gymnasts make history.

Competing in all the Olympic disciplines with full men’s and women’s artistic teams, Kat Driscoll in the trampoline, Frankie Jones in rhythmic and for the first time event a GBR rhythmic group, the gymnasts rose to the occasion and produced spectacular results.

The men’s team were crowned Olympic bronze medallists.
Louis Smith took silver and Max Whitlock bronze on pommel horse.
Beth Tweddle took bronze on uneven bars.
