British Gymnastics is committed to developing first class membership services. Membership fees are used to provide a range of member benefits, including insurance, and to support the development of the sport across the UK from grass roots through to elite levels. British Gymnastics policies are designed to safeguard gymnasts who participate at a BG Registered Club. The implementation of these policies across the sport UK wide enables British Gymnastics to provide its insurers with the confidence and the economies of scale to negotiate attractive insurance cover for its members. Provided that the Rules of Membership of British Gymnastics are adhered to, including the registration of all club coaches, gymnasts and officials, the club is covered by the Association’s legal liability insurance policy.
