“ The Championships at Fenton Manor proved once again that year on year the level of the British competitors improves across all disciplines of Groups Acrobatics and across all age groups. All participants seemed very well prepared and we witnessed a great number of excellent performances.  Another very positive feature of this event was the number of clubs who are capable of producing high standard gymnasts increases. All in all – very positive impressions at the beginning of the season, which will see two major International events, the World Championships in July, and the European Championships in October, both to be held in Poland”, said Laurie Colton, President of the UEG Acrobatic Gymnastics Technical Committee.

“I was very pleased to see the extraordinary standard of competition, which will make the choice of the British representatives on the World and European stage extremely difficult.  On the eve of the actual selection process we can’t be but appreciative of the hard work and efforts made by the competitors and their coaches- job well done so far! I hope they will continue to work with the same zest for improvement”, said BG’s Acrobatic Gymnastics Technical Director Matei Todorov.
