The criteria for the event was a 6 member mixed gender team (senior & youth) selected on the basis that none were World Class funded, none were selected for the recent European Championships, and all are on a continued upward developmental pathway.

The team arrived in Prague early evening and went immediately to training which was held in an old gothic building which had been used as a gym for over 100 years.
Teams from Denmark, Portugal and Czech Republic were constituted also of a mix of senior team members through to youth competitors, so it appeared to be an evenly matched event.
All team members competed three rounds i.e. one compulsory and two voluntary routines. In each round of competition the top four scores counted towards each country's team score.

From the start GB's consistency and form put them in a very positive position and with one round to go; further consistent routines would easily secure the event for GB.
A great final round increased the GBR lead and confirmed the competition was won resoundingly by GB. Nick Davis won the trophy for the highest scoring male individual (103.40).
The team had a celebration meal and a night time guided tour of the beautiful city of Prague before leaving for home.
