A leading all-around performance by Rebecca Tunney led the GBR (1) team to gold in the three way senior women’s artistic international in Pipers Vale, Ipswich, which also served as the second Olympic trial.

The GBR (1) team of Hannah Whelan, Jenni Pinches, Rebecca Tunney and Rebecca Downie scored 167.800to lead the GBR (3) team of Beth Tweddle, Danusia Francis, Niamh Rippin and Imogen Cairns who scored 165.750, with Spain in third, GBR (2) in 4th and Finland 5th.

In the individual finals Beth Tweddle made a welcome return from injury to win the bars scoring 15.300, Jenni Pinches took vault with 13.425, Jocelyn Hunt 13.900 for floor gold and Izurieta of Spain 14.050 for the beam gold.
