<p>The 2013 TeamGym British Championships take place on the 25th May at Fenton Manor in Stoke on Trent. <br /><br />The competition consist of three categories: women, men and mixed teams, with teams of between 6 and 12 gymnasts performing energetic, non-stop routines on three pieces of apparatus: floor, trampette and a tumbling track. TeamGym routines require effective teamwork, excellent technique and spectacular acrobatic elements. Training and competitions generate an excellent team spirit amongst gymnasts with routines providing great entertainment and spectacle for participants and spectators.<br /><br />Tickets are available from Fenton Manor Box Office

First year senior Frank Baines finished an impressive 6th in the high bar final with 13.675 and Dominick Cunningham made the floor final finishing in 5th with a huge 14.900.</span></span></p>

<p>The British aerobic gymnastic junior squad were invited to their first French vs. Britain match on the weekend of the 20th-21st April. It was an excellent competition for the squad with GB pulling out all the stops. All British squad gymnasts medalled and Ella Augier got the best junior score to date (19.770) to win the female individual. <p>21/04/13 Moscow (RUS): Sam Oldham secured the high bar silver medal on the final day of the 2013 European Championships in Moscow to complete a memorable medal-filled weekend for Great Britain. <p>The 2013 Rheintal Cup took place from the 13th-14th April in Widnau, Switzerland, with the GBR men’s juniors coming away with some fantastic results.&nbsp;<strong> Joshua Nathan</strong> from the City of Birmingham took first place all-around and first in the floor final. Woking gymnast, <strong>Jamie Lewis</strong> was hot on his heels in second all-around and he also took third place in the high bar final. <strong>Euan Cox</strong> (Pegasus GC) and <strong>Korben Fellows</strong> (City of Birmingham) took7th and 21st all-around in their first international for GB.</p>

<p>Great Britain’s team of Kelly Simm, Raer Theaker, Angel Romaeo, Georgina Hockenhull and Rebecca Downie have won the 4th Austrian Team Open in Linz scoring 162.925, over 12 points ahead of nearest rival Hungary.</p>
<p>The team was led by Kelly Simm who also took the all-around title scoring 53.700, with Raer in bronze (52.625), Angel in 4th (52.550) and Georgina 5th (51.750). Becky Downie competed only on bars where she scored a brilliant 14.700 to set her up nicely for the forthcoming European Championships.</p>

<p>The Men’s and Women’s British Championships is the most prestigious event on the artistic gymnastics national calendar, taking place from the 22nd-24th March 2013 at Echo Arena in Liverpool.</p>
<p>The championships see the country’s top gymnasts battle for coveted British titles; the showpiece event being the crowning of the new senior all-around champions.</p>

<p><strong>Max Whitlock</strong> took pommel silver just .266 behind Olympic champion Kristian Berki during Sunday’s finals at the 19th French International in La Roche-sur-Yon. The recently crowned English champion scored 15.700 to Berki’s 15.966, elsewhere <strong>Sam Oldham</strong> placed 4th on floor scoring 13.100.</p>
<p>Becky Downie and Kristian Thomas both competed but didnt make the top four to progress into their respective finals.</p>

<p><span>The Maia Acro World Cup was held on the 16<sup>th</sup> and 17<sup>th</sup> March. Great Britain sent a nine-strong squad to the competition who came away with some very promising results for the first World Cup of 2013.</span></p>

<p>The 2013 Great British GymFusion took place at the EIS in Sheffield on the 9<sup>th</sup> and 10<sup>th</sup> March.
