Education Coordinator (Development)

30 hours per work over 4 or 5 days

Full time hours will be considered for the right candidate

Salary range £16,500 to £22,000 per annum pro rata (dependent upon experience)

+ contributory pension + 34 days annual leave (includes Bank Holidays and Company Days) pro rata

We are looking for an Education Coordinator - Development to provide Coaches across our gymnastics community with an effective, structured and well organised programme of Level 3 national courses and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) modules.

The Role

The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • Coordinating national CPD courses across all disciplines, to include sourcing dates, venues, accommodation, tutors, resources etc. in line with programme requirements

  • Publishing and promoting the national course programme on the British Gymnastics Website and through other channels, as appropriate

  • Highlighting areas where current course provision is in need of revision or improvement

  • Collating data/generating reports in relation to activities and revenues/expenditure

  • Supporting colleagues, training and sharing knowledge/expertise, stepping in to handle difficult situations, where required/appropriate

  • Sharing the workload, handling of incoming telephone calls, scanning and filing etc. to ensure department goals and objectives are achieved.

The Person

Applicants will need to demonstrate:

  • An ability to plan and organise course/meetings and coordinator the requirements of course tutors and attendees

  • An ability to effectively prioritise workload.

  • Experience of maintaining and analysing records

  • Good communication skills including presentation skills, networking and contributing at meetings

  • Good administrative skills and experience of using Microsoft Office or similar packages
