Course Organiser (Maternity Cover)


37 hours per week
This role can be based either remotely, dual or at Lilleshall National Sports Centre, nr Newport, Shropshire.
 
Salary £18,280 - £22,000 annum (dependent upon experience) + 39 days annual leave (including Bank Holiday and Company days) + 2 wellbeing days a year + weekly exercise and wellbeing hours

The Education department is looking for a Course Organiser to cover maternity absence for up to 9 months starting from 1st August 2022. As the Course Organiser you will coordinate a coach and judge education programme that provides sufficient education opportunities at all levels to meet the needs of the national and regional gymnastics community. This role will focus on the regional coach education programme.
 
The Role
The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • Coordinate an annual/rolling plan of education courses to meet customer demand 
  • Ensure courses are programmed in advance by consulting with clubs, coaches and regional colleagues to meet current and future needs
  • Source dates, venues/online channels, workforce and any associated course requirements in line with the programme to ensure a smooth and successful customer journey. 
  • Proactively promoting and communicating course opportunities as well as actively responding to customer queries about existing courses. 
  • Ensuring accurate course administration, such as raising and processing orders, ordering course resources, and course registrations are completed in a timely manner. 
  • Supporting colleagues, training and sharing knowledge/expertise, working as part of a team to resolve difficult situations, where required/appropriate 
  • Ensuring CRM records are updated and accurate including communications and qualifications are recorded.  
  • Ensuring procedural and financial compliance across all processes and systems.

 The Person
Applicants will need to demonstrate:
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, for managing and prioritising the work programme, arranging courses and meetings.
  • Strong IT skills, confident in using various Microsoft packages for presenting, writing reports, collating data and analysing records in relation to expenditure, cost effectiveness, trends and progress
  • Great interpersonal skills for building effective working relationships with various stakeholders across the gymnastics community
  • An appetite to develop an understanding and knowledge of coaching and judging courses, processes and qualifications.
