For 2016, British Gymnastics and the Youth Sport Trust are offering young coaches, ambitious officials and Group 2 National Squad Aerobic gymnasts the opportunity to attend the annual unique multi-sport, multi-role, three dimensional National Talent Camp.
- 14-19 years old, in full-time education in England (not University)
- A British Gymnastics Member
- Affiliated to a BG registered club
- Enthusiastic to develop as a judge, athlete or coach.
The 4 day, 3 night National Talent Camp will be taking place from 16th -19th December 2016 at the prestigious Loughborough University. The National Talent Camp is fully funded (minus travel costs) and is an exciting opportunity to support aspiring young people within the sport of Gymnastics, to increase individual aspiration, ambition and to develop empathy. Though the camp, young people are stretched and challenged to be ambitious and achieve their sporting best.
This programme sees around 350 coaches; officials and athletes attend the 4 day residential camp and sessions focus on Managing Emotions, The Power of Sleep and individual ambitions and much, much more. Individuals across 10 different sports will be attending the camp, which will give you a unique opportunity to compare and share practices with ‘like-minded’ young people from other sports.
