Contract for Services - Acrobatic Coaches

British Gymnastics is seeking to engage the services of four new Performance Pathway Coaches for Acrobatic Gymnastics.


Performance Pathway Coach North x 2


November 2018 – December 2019

Performance Pathway Coach South x 2

Payment: Fixed daily rate for the duration of the Contract for Services

The outcomes of the roles are to maintain and progress the development of gymnasts at the lower entry levels of the performance pathway in Acrobatic Gymnastics.

Acrobatic Performance Pathway Panel

The four coaching roles, along with the Coach Developers, for the Acrobatic Programme will combine with the Performance Pathway Manager, Head National Coach and Acrobatic TC Chair to create the Acrobatic Performance Pathway Panel. The aim of this will be to review and revise the programme as seen fit to maximise the gymnastic talent and development during the duration of the year.

Please note the existing Acrobatic coach contracts for services will not be renewed following their conclusion in March 2018.

Additional Information

The Performance Pathway Manager will oversee these roles.

Payment will be made on submission of invoices for work completed.

For the duration of the engagement the contractor (coach) will be fully responsible for ensuring that they:

  • Hold a current (within last 3 years) British Gymnastics DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) Certificate
  • Hold a current (within 3 years) Safeguarding and Protecting children certificate
  • Hold current British Gymnastics Coach membership
  • Attend any required CPD or relevant Coaching qualifications 
  • Credible and current technical expertise delivering at Pathway Squad level or above
