The Trampoline Academy have an exciting RARE opportunity for a trainee Trampoline Sports Coach position.
Coaches already qualified in trampolining are welcome to apply. Level 1’s who wish to progress to Level 2 will be supported through the course for the right candidate.
We operate at venues in Warwick (Chase Meadows) and Nuneaton (the Nuneaton Academy) in Warwickshire.
We are looking to expand our coaching team, and grow the club.
We would like to offer a trainee coach position to an enthusiastic person wanting to get into coaching/teaching. Full training, funding, and support for level 1 (and 2 for the right person) trampoline coaching award will be given, while learning on the job. This would be very complementary to a sports a-level, b-tec, diploma or degree.
We operate on a generous 5:1 of coach to participants ratios A trainee Coach will lean on the job while completing the level 1 and 2 British gymnastic trampoline coaching qualifications. During session you will be required to safely manage group sizes of 4 to 5 gymnasts on a trampoline while you follow our lesson plans, and are expected to run side stations for conditioning and flexibility within or during a session. While making the experience fun and enjoyable for the participants.
Classes run for 46 week of the year (43 weeks for Mondays to include bank holidays), on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays and Sunday's. From 3:30/4pm until 6 or 8pm depending on the day.
Coaches must work a minimum of 2 evenings or weekends. We are flexible to which evening/weekend.
Coaches holidays and ad hoc days off can be catered for, however, coaches are required to generally be available for there sessions. We are flexible to work with coaches availability so long as they are committed.
Our club is a family. We are warm welcoming and supportive of each other. We require coaches who want to be part of our family, help us grow as a club and facilitate gymnasts to achieve their potential, whatever level that might be.
You must be able to work with children. Coaching experience and studying on a sports course is desirable.
