Leeds Gymnastics Club CIC based at Limewood Business Park, Limewood Way, Seacroft, Leeds,    LS14 1AB is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to ensure continuation of a recreational coaching programme in a recently established second venue, near to our main site in Seacroft Leeds. We call this second venue The Hub and it is based in our own dedicated hall in the nearby Local Authority sports centre. The hall has been fully kitted out with 12m x 12m floor, bars, tumbling/sprung floor track, air track and vault track. 

This venue has allowed us to expand our successful GfA programme with new classes including Gfa KS1 & KS2, tumbling, team gym, display, sports acrobatic gymnastics, pre-school, home education classes and parties.   Over 350 members are using the space each week.  In addition, we provide curriculum PE classes to local schools and after school clubs for schools. This programme will continue to expand in the next few months and additionally we are actively seeking our own second property to allow us to develop further.

The successful candidate will have passion for recreational gymnastics and be able to inspire, mentor & lead a team of staff. They must be well organised and creative and they will be responsible for the management, coaching and day to day running of the Hub programme. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification (or be working towards) in either General, Women’s or Men's Artistic Gymnastics. They will also be a member of British Gymnastics and will possess a current DBS check and hold current safeguarding qualifications.  A valid driving licence is essential and a current first aid certificate desirable. This post will require working closely with the Head of GfA @LGC (main site) to ensure that the programmes across the club offer the maximum opportunities for gymnasts and that coaching standards are maintained across both sites.  

Responsible to the Interim Director of GfA, the successful candidate will work forty hours per week over five days (one day at weekends – currently Sunday).

Leeds Gymnastics Club CIC was founded in May 2012 and is already one of the largest clubs in the country with over 1500 members in GfA plus performance squads including GB squad members.   It is of utmost importance that the individual has similar energy and drive as rest of the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is willing to take on a challenge with the opportunity to work for a professional gymnastics club led by a forward-thinking board of directors.

Salary variable dependant upon experience and qualification ranging from £26K - £32K plus employer’s pension scheme.  Holiday entitlement –28 days including Bank holidays
