Tutor - British Gymnastics

Becoming a Tutor

Becoming a British Gymnastics Tutor is a great opportunity to further develop your skills and to contribute to the education of the coaches and judges of the future. You will receive training and support in becoming a qualified BG tutor and be paid for delivering our courses.

Tutors’ delivery:

  • Coach Education
  • Judge Education
  • Other courses supporting the development of clubs, such as our Club Management Module/Time to Listen/ Theory based virtual delivery

For the course you intend to tutor, you will need to be passionate about helping others to learn and gain knowledge and experience, and happy to go through an interview and selection process. You will also need to be appropriately qualified and hold a Level 3 coaching qualification in a primary discipline for a minimum of two years.

We recruit annually and is dependent on the needs of the programme / region and discipline. There is a recruitment process that requires an application for anyone to be considered. Following a successful onboarding you will also be required to attend the full 2 -day training weekend and any following training specific to each level of delivery. Training is self-funded and full support provided by the Educator Workforce Manager.

We identify our tutor requirements based on geographical and discipline-by-discipline needs. Vacancies are advertised via the British Gymnastics website.
