This course will qualify you to teach gymnastics within a secondary school environment.
Gymnastics is a great way for schools to get involved with sports, either as part of the existing National Curriculum or through after school clubs. You will learn how to support participants in exciting floor and flights skills, and dynamic acrobatics and rhythmic elements.
You will focus on partner work, body management and the importance of safety.
Teachers and teaching assistants who hold a QTS or formal qualification or for individuals working towards these qualifications.
An informative course to give learners the confidence to deliver quality gymnastics sessions during curriculum time and in an afterschool club environment.
Twelve hours- practical based.
No, participants are not required.
No mentor is required for the course, but it advisable to develop links with a local gymnastics club for on-going development.
