Opus Safety Incorporating Agility Risk & Compliance have worked with British Gymnastics since 2013, providing bespoke training and support to registered Clubs.

Opus Safety have designed this Risk Assessment training/ webinar for club owners and managers, coaches and those responsible for risk assessment the skills to assess hazards and risks within the club. The training is intended to provide the knowledge to produce suitable and sufficient risk assessments and will cover the requirements for all employees, coaches, and volunteers to be risk aware.

Risk Assessment training covers why risk assessments are necessary, the legal requirements relating to risk assessments and simple processes for carrying out a risk assessment.

This certificated training is about risk assessment and the responsibilities for a club.

Who is this Aimed at:

This training is aimed at club owners and managers, coaches and those responsible for risk assessment or wanting to learn more about assessing risk within a club.

What To Expect:

By the end of the training, you will understand:

  • The legal requirements for risk assessment.
  • Five steps to risk assessment.
  • Understanding hazards and risk control.
  • Principles and practical approach to risk assessment.
  • Other types of risk assessment including fire, asbestos, chemical and substances.

    Webinar based training.

    Duration:

    2 hours.

    Pre Requisites:

    16+ years of age.

    Please note, if you are under the age of 18, this training should be used as CPD only. All learning from the training should be supervised by a responsible adult (aged 18+) when in a practical setting.
