Your muscles burn, your heart pounds, there's nothing but air beneath you as you tuck into a spin and go for the perfect dismount. You close your eyes and think: this is how it feels to be alive...

Men's artistic gymnastics is all about strength. From your very first day, you'll start building your power. And as you get to grips with the six activities that make up this type of gymnastics, you'll learn to perform powerful routines full of mind-blowing moves.

You can get involved in men's artistic gymnastics at any age from primary school to adult. Even if you've never done anything like this before. As you're starting out, you'll learn core skills and the basics of the six activities (the floor, the pommel horse, the rings, the vault, the parallel bars and the high bar). As your strength and skill develop, you'll get the hang of more breath-taking tricks. If you want, you can get involved in the competitions for your age group. Who knows, you could even become the next Louis Smith or Max Whitlock - British Olympic heroes and two of our greatest men's artistic gymnasts ever.

Ready to become a men's artistic gymnast? All our clubs provide a safe, friendly environment with professional coaches to help you learn.
