For any club wishing to join Eastern Counties Gymnastics Association, their main training venue must be within the regional boundaries.
Initially clubs need to be accepted by their respective County Association. The County Coach or another authorized person will arrange to visit the new club to ensure that safe working practices are in place, with suitably qualified coaches. It is also an opportunity for the Head Coach to discuss any queries he/she may have.
Following the visit a report is made at the next county committee meeting. Once the new club is accepted the Regional Secretary is informed of this and details of regional affiliation is provided.
When the regional affiliation is paid, the new club will qualify for the benefits of belonging to this Association, receive the regional handbook and their gymnasts will be able to enter regional competition.
