Now into its third year we are working alongside Sport England to give you the chance to get your hands on a share of £150,000 to put towards purchasing a range of FreeG equipment through Continental. Designed exclusively with our gymnastics clubs in mind, the equipment is built using a flexible, modular block approach and will allow clubs to free up existing equipment whilst increasing current FreeG performance and provision levels.
FreeG is a fantastic gymnastics activity that fuses traditional gymnastic and acrobatic tricks, with kicks and leaps made famous through martial arts and brought to worldwide attention by festival performers and stunt actors. Officially launched in the summer of 2013, the FreeG phenomenon has spread across the country with thousands taking part in this new and diverse activity, and you could be a part of it.
The application process is now open to affiliated British Gymnastics clubs until the 17th May 2015. For more information, including an application form, go to the FreeG website.
