When London Gymnastics launched their CLUB GRANTS 2018 there were 10 grants each of £1,000.00 available to any club affiliated to London Gymnastics. The grants would be split with 5 being awarded to the larger clubs with membership of over 250 gymnasts registered on GymNet. The other 5 grants going to clubs with 249 or less gymnasts.

When the applications came in there were twice as many from the smaller club so the number of grants was increased to 10 grants for the smaller clubs.

There are no set criteria – the choice was yours. All you needed to do was tell us is how the money would be spent.

The application forms were assessed and marked anonymously by a panel of independent judges.

When the marks were combined they resulted in a 3 way tie for the 5th large grant so it was agreed to award to all 3.
