British Gymnastics (BG) does not organise Safeguarding and Protecting Children courses. They do however, accept outside providers that offer courses that are a minimum of a 3-hour face to face workshop. There are a wide variety that BG accept and a few examples of these are:
• Sports Coach UK
• The NHS
• The FA
• Local Authorities
• Local Safeguarding Children’s Board
If you already hold a face to face award, please send a copy of your certificate in to [email protected] along with your membership. Then when it is time for renewal you will be able to enrol on to the online safeguarding refresher course.
