London Gymnastics Men’s London Open is delighted to be supporting Mental Health awareness. The 2018 event saw us raise of £2000 towards Mental Health, and this year we are going a step further by adding a number of items which pledge our commitment to support the awareness, education and support for those affected by Mental Health.
We have chosen Mental Health Foundation as the organization to partner with, as much like the Men’s London Open, they have a long heritage in providing for others, and this year marks their 70th Anniversary.
I am delighted to announce, that this year’s event will be renamed to “The Mental Health Foundation Men’s London Open 2019”.
This is the start of an exciting journey for the event, and we hope to roll out our association with Mental Health across London Gymnastics in the future, including greater guidance for our clubs/coaches to help identify and support any of our gymnastics community who are affected by Mental Health.
