Passing of Bunny Warren

Bunny Warren News Story

London Gymnastics was devastated to learn the sudden passing of Bunny Warren.

Bunny and Meg Warren have been a formidable partnership in gymnastics for decades.   For many years Bunny held Senior Positions at British Gymnastics and he extended his pure love for the sport, it’s volunteers and gymnasts in every interaction he made across the country, internationally and in our own London region.

From a far Bunny supported London by listening and trying to implement suggestions from our Regional Committees. He was also a regular visitor to the London Men’s Open and London Festival.

London Gymnastics’ Chair Ben Murphy says “I personally had the pleasure to work with Bunny across many National and International Championships, and I will fondly remember how Bunny rolled his sleeves up as a volunteer at the London 2012 Olympics. Not only did he perform his duties with the utmost care and enthusiasm, but he looked out and guided many of those around him.

The sport has lost a true gentleman and custodian of gymnastics. To Meg and the family, we send our best wishes at the difficult time.

RIP Bunny (Michael) Warren.”
