Gold for Fragapane in France as Park Wrekin take British Team title


Claudia Fragapane tumbled her way to floor gold at the World Challenge Cup in Paris scoring 13.900 as our top gymnasts continue to look to impress selectors ahead of the World Championships team announcement later this week. Claudia also took the bronze on the beam with a score of 13.200 whilst Georgia-Mae Fenton made the bars final scoring 12.600 for 7th spot.

Back home the 2017 Adrian Stan Team Competition took place with Park Wrekin taking the senior team title (squad) and City of Birmingham the junior team gold (squad). Charlie Fellows (Park Wrekin) topped the senior all-around rankings scoring 53.100, the full results from all the competitions can be found here. The GBR line-ups for the forthcoming artistic gymnastics World Championships are set to be announced this week.

Meanwhile Jamie Lewis and Jake Jarman are out in Japan at the International Junior Competition in Yokohama, Jake scored 78.650 all-around with Jamie scoring 76.700.
