In front of a bumper crowd at Northumbria University, multiple British champions have been crowned at the 2018 TeamGym British Championships.
In the senior mixed competition it was Bracknell Gymnastics Club that came out on top, scoring 49.700 across the floor, tumbling and trampet exercises, closely followed by Reddam Gymnastics in second with 47.350. Saltire Team Gymnastics took the bronze with 42.800.
Well backed by the home crowd, in the senior women’s competition City of Newcastle Gym Academy came out on top, scoring 41.925 across the three apparatus.
In the senior men’s Hawth Gymnastics Club were in unstoppable form, impressing the judges to score 46.333 to take gold with Waterside Gymnastics Club scoring 38.866 for silver.
In the disabilities team level one competition Leeds Esprit Gymnastics Club performed well to take top spot with a score of 34.500.
There were also British titles won at both junior and youth level. Here are the full results;

Sunday saw competitors take part in the TeamGym Micro Challenge event.
It was Portsmouth School of Gym who took the title in the senior micro team challenge, scoring 27.450 to just edge out 1066 Gymnastics (27.100) who finished second. Forth Valley GC took the bronze medal, with their two routines giving them a total of 25.950.
The junior micro team challenge competition was very competitive, and it was Crewe & Nantwich Gym Club that came out on top. They scored 26.200 to take gold ahead of Southwark Gymnastics Club (25.250) who took silver with Basingstoke Gym Club scoring 25.100 for bronze.
Leatherhead & Dorking Gym Club (24.900) took the title in youth micro team challenge. With the top three separated by less than 0.500, it was Wiltshire School of Gymnastics who won silver scoring 24.750, just ahead of Scarborough Gym Academy (24.550) who won bronze.
