Christmas Information

Last Ordering Dates
Please remember that working days are Monday to Friday so deliveries are unlikely at the weekend.  We cannot 100% guarantee any delivery date as they could be influenced by factors out of our control, such as inclement weather or incidents.

  • Economy Royal Mail 5-7 days:  Friday 15th December – delivery between Wednesday 20th & Friday 22nd December
  • Standard Courier 3-5 working days Service (DPD):  Monday 18th December – delivery between Wednesday 20th & Friday 22nd December
  • Express Courier 1-2 working days Service (DPD):  Wednesday 20th December for orders placed before 12.00 noon – delivery should be on Wednesday 20th or Thursday 21st December

Christmas Opening Hours

GYMSHOP will be closed for the Christmas and New Year Holidays – from 2pm Wednesday 20th December 2018 until we reopen 09.00  Tuesday 2nd  January 2018.  You can place orders during these dates but they will not be despatched until after this Christmas break.  Your delivery days will start from when your order is picked and not from the day you placed your order.

Once we reopen in January, our normal working hours are 09.00-16.30 Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays.  Express shipping will be available again from Thursday 4th  January 2018.

Returns

We have extended the return period for items purchased as presents during December – please return any unsuitable Clothing or Accessories purchased as gifts between January 2nd- 16th 2018.  No returns will be processed before 2nd January as our offices are closed for the holidays.  When our office reopens, Returns could then take 7-10 working days to process.

We recommend you use a signed for service from 2nd January 2018 – Royal Mail Standard Parcels Service or similar is fine – as Gymshop are not responsible for any returned items until our Returns team have signed for them, ask for a receipt so that you have to have proof of delivery.    You will be charged for the shipping out of the replacement items.

All returns must be in as-new condition, in original packaging and (for clothing) with any tags and labels. British Gymnastics takes no responsibility for items returned that are lost or damaged in transit, and will not refund or replace such items.  If lost, it is your responsibility to make a claim against your courier service.  If returned damaged or used, we will set the items aside for you to arrange collection.

When returning goods from outside the UK you must attach a customs declaration describing the goods as ‘British Returned Goods’ only. If you do not do this you will have to you pay import duty – British Gymnastics will not pay these charges so your parcel would be returned to you by Customs.
