South East Conference Report 2014

80 people attended 14 different workshops at the South East Club Conference and Aspire to Lead (A2L) day at K2 Crawley on 9th February, which was aimed at club leaders, coaches, young leaders aspiring to achieve, and welfare officers.

As well as being a good opportunity for networking, the range of workshops provided individuals and clubs with new information, ideas & challenges and better understanding of programmes and opportunities to perform and achieve.

This conference introduced delegates to ideas to help open doors to an even wider community of participants, especially those 11years & over, and retaining our valuable participants for longer.

Gymnastics for All (GfA) has an amazing breadth of opportunities for all our participants, valuing all who take part and providing an opportunity to re-focus and understand the driving factors that make our sport so wonderful

Thirty Eight leaders from 9 club Leadership Academies attended the Events and Intro to Volunteering workshops to receive their accreditation certificate and to use the information within their clubs and at county and regional events.
