Great Britain were proudly represented in every medal ceremony as our young acrobatic gymnastics’ stars exceled over the weekend at the 2019 European Age Group Championships in Holon, Israel.
From the South East we had, Sasha Carptenter and Poppy Yates in the 12-18 women’s pair combined final winning an amazing European Gold, 12-18 men’s group Jack Clegg, Bradley Gold, Jake Turner and Harry Watson (combined) won a superb silver with Ethan Law and Archie Collier in the 12-18 men’s pair as well as our women’s group, Francesca Arnell, Olivia Hossenboccus and Amy Rowe (combined) winning a brilliant bronze.
If it weren’t for the one group per nation being allowed into the final rule, Beatrice Henderson and Hector Kinghorn may well have added to the medal tally having impressed in qualifying. Sasha, Poppy Ethan, Archie, Bradley, Jack, Jake and Harry are all from Spelthorne Gymnastics and Beatrice, Hector, Amy, Francesca and Olivia all from Tigers Acrobatic Gymnastics.
They were joined by gymnasts across the country who also added to the medal tally.
Well done to everyone, we are so proud with everything you have achieved.
