Safeguarding courses aren’t organised by British Gymnastics, but workshops ran via UK Coaching can be found using the Workshop Finder on their website.
All British Gymnastics coaches and welfare officers are required to hold a minimum of a 3 hour, face to face workshop on their membership. After this, online safeguarding refreshers can be accepted. A copy of your face to face safeguarding course is required to be sent in via email to the Customer Support team.

Time to Listen
All clubs are required to have a trained Welfare Officer in place as a condition of British Gymnastics registration. Learners must have completed a Safeguarding workshop and have this recorded on their membership before attending the Time To Listen course. If you attend a Time to Listen course without the requirement in place, you award will be placed on hold and not recognised.
