Who is the grant aimed at:
Clubs who provide venues that enable the regional competition / squad programme to take place. The SWAGA exec at its last meeting, voted to ring-fence a pot of funds that clubs could request grants from to replace / update equipment. SWAGA recognises the additional wear and tear on equipment and hopes a contribution to its replacement will go some way to help the club continue to support the opportunities the region wishes to offer its gymnasts.

• Open to all disciplines
• Club must be a current SWAGA member
• The club venue to have been used for Regional events (Dates etc more than 1 year ago not necessary, the discipline representative on the SWAGA committee will be able to verify the clubs support in this area)
• The club must be able to provide receipts for equipment replaced
• Application to be made on club headed paper
• The application is taken on a case by case basis. Please be aware that the committee meets 4 times a year and any application would be considered at the next planned meeting.
• The amount you have applied for may not be granted
• The maximum grant awarded will be £5,000 (only 1 application can be made this membership year)
• Any grant awarded will be paid into a club accout
This grant is only available for this SWAGA membership year
How to apply:
On club headed paper (electronic or hard copy) give some detail about what the club has replaced or purchased and how this is linked to running competitions / squads at your venue along with the completed form below and copies of receipts. Send electronically to the SWAGA Chairman Mike Beagley
