BG Safeguarding Officer

British Gymnastics is the UK Governing Body for gymnastics.  We exist to support, lead and inspire all those involved or interested in gymnastics; from the creation of new programmes and activities at grass roots level in the community, to the development of talent producing international gymnasts.

This position requires current DBS and Safeguarding certificates and First Aid is desirable. Duties include coaching WAG squad for up to 25 hours per week as well as liasing with Squad and Develomemt coaches. Weekend cover of the centre and parties on a rotational basis.

Phoenix Gymnastics Club is looking for a full time gymnastics coach to plan, deliver and oversee the Recreational Gymnastics Programme.  We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivating & reliable coach who is keen to join and lead a friendly coaching team and who is committed to high standards. 
Responsible for planning & organising the Club’s recreational gymnastics programme which includes badge work, competitions and displays, holiday activities, waiting lists and rotas.
Responsible for Advanced Recreational groups and Club Squad (development group)
Lead, mentor and inspire a team of coaches to deliver the club’s goals.
Coaches must have good people and communication skills and work well within a team.
Phoenix Gymnastics Club is a well established and friendly club which trains in a dedicated, pitted facility between Windsor and Maidenhead in Berkshire.  Recently under new management. 
The Club supports and encourages the personal development of coaches.

The full time position - minimum of British Gymnastics Level 2 General Gymnastics Qualification. It will be salaried and based around a 40 hour week. The candidate would be subject to a 3 month probationary period.

The part time positions - minimum of British Gymnastics Level 1 General Gymnastics qualification – Times will be negotiated around candidate availability and the demands of the classes at Phoenix.
