What a fantastic competition gymnasts had at the 2019 trampoline, tumbling and DMT World Championships in Tokyo.
From the South we had Kaitlin Lafferty (Basingstoke Gym Club), Dominic Mensah (Pinewood Gymnastics Club LTD), Aimee Antonius and Kristof Willerton (both Andover Gymnastics Club).
Great Britain’s tumbling gymnasts produced a masterclass to take both the men’s and women’s team world titles on the first day of finals at the 2019 Trampoline, Tumbling and DMT World Championships in Tokyo.
Aimee Antonius held her nerve in her first senior major final to score a brilliant 34.300 helping seal the gold medal with Kristoff powering the team off to the perfect start scoring 38.800 to give Britain an unbeatable 115.900 to retain their world title.
