World Games 2013

In summer 2013 top athletes from 38 sports competed over 11 days in Colombia’s third largest city, Cali for the 9th World Games. The Games are held every four years in the year following the Olympic Games.

Represented by four disciplines - Rhythmic, Trampoline, Acrobatic and Aerobic - and staging a total of twenty-two medal events (GBR gymnasts competing in trampoline, tumbling DMT and acro) - gymnastics was one of the major sports featured at the World Games.

A total of 88 male and female competitors participated in the Trampoline tournaments in Cali: 48 in Synchronised, 20 in Double Mini-trampoline and 20 in Tumbling with a quota of 78 acrobats divvied up into six pairs or groups.
