Things to note

This course will provide you with the theoretical knowledge and the practical skills to recognise the risks of unsafe practices involved in manual handling, as required by the Manual Handling Operations Regulations (1992)

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

Organise tasks to avoid manual handling where there is a significant risk of injury.

Conduct an assessment to determine the likelihood of a risk occurring and the impact that it would have if it does.

Identify ways of reducing the risk of injury from handling loads.

Carry out manual handling activities safely.
