This informed training leads into certificated training such as the Manual Handling Training.

Who is this Aimed at:

This training is aimed at club coaches, managers, officers and volunteers.

What To Expect:

By the end of the training, you will be able to:

  • Organise tasks to avoid manual handling where there is a significant risk of injury.
  • Conduct an assessment to determine the likelihood of a risk occurring and the impact that it would have if it does.
  • Identify ways of reducing the risk of injury from handling loads.
  • Carry out manual handling activities safely.

    Duration:

    45 minutes.

    Pre Requisites:

    16+ years of age.

    Price:

    Free of charge for all British Gymnastics members. £33 for non-members.
